A high level visit was organized in Syria for Endress+Hauser Instruments International CEO Jean-Gyl Capt accompanied by Andreas Parpas, MESC Managing Director, and Belkacem Lagrine Country Manager for Syria.

During the visit, which took place between the 6th and 10th December 2009, the delegation, together with Husam Khanji the General Manager of Technolead, held meetings with an important clients like Al-Furat Petroleum Co. a Shell joint venture in Syria.

During the meeting we were able to introduce Endress+Hauser, the family culture, values and products and expressed our wish to invest further in the Syrian Oil & Gas industry, which we consider as one of strategic importance for our company in the local market. This meeting had shown a genuine interest in our company's portfolio and encouraged us to expand our business.

We had a very interesting and successful overall visit and were able to promote and raise awareness of the Endress+Hauser brand name, products, solutions and services on a top down approach which is so necessary in today's competitive business environment.
